Question about Mimi's Cafe?

I am going to Disneyland in a few weeks, from November 18-24. Me & boyfriend are staying at HoJo, so I plan on eating at Mimi's at least once. I'm already a part of their mailing club, & I am hoping I get a good coupon soon (I've been getting but one entree, get one free but they expire before my trip)! But my main question is, at what point should my boyfriend sign up for their mailing list to get the free pack of muffins? I don't want him to do it too soon in case the coupon expires before we go..does anyone have an idea of when you get the coupon after you sign up, & how long the free muffins are good for? Thanks!

I think 2 weeks ahead of time is safe. That's what has always been said on these boards, and what I've always done.

We will be there at the same time as you, also staying at HoJo. I plan to sign up about a week prior. I think they give you two weeks to use the coupon. You get the coupon right away (or at least you did when we went a year and a half ago). See you there!

I would sign up a week prior to your trip. And I've been getting the BOGO coupons regularly so you'll likely get another one before your trip that you can use. Be aware that you do have to buy 2 drinks as well, non-alcoholic are fine but you are required to buy 2 drinks and 1 entree to get the second entree free.

Yes, I've been getting those coupons, but they expire 11/9--I'm anxiously awaiting for one that expires later. We're poor college students so I'm scoping out as many food coupons as I can

I just joined Mimi's club on 11/4, and the coupon for 4 free croissants/muffins with $5 purchase coupon they emailed me expires on 11/20. We are not arriving until late on the 20th, so I'm going to wait a couple of more days and sign my husband up so that we can get a coupon good for the duration of our trip.

I just joined today, and I have an expiration on muffins for 11/20. That works out for us as we're there the week of 11-17. And we're at the HoJo, too! I'll be on the lookout for two muggles. Keep an eye out for a family of 5....ha! I'm sure there won't be many of those.

Has anyone signed up for Mimi's e-club recently? Do you still get the BOGO coupons and free muffins when you sign up?

Also, I saw somewhere recently they got new management or something. Is it still a good/recommended place to eat?

When we signed up in November, we got the free muffins coupon. We also get an email coupon every few weeks for a buy-one-get-one-free offer.

We went there at the beginning of the month and the food and service was very good. I would go there again, no problem.
