Question about Mickey Graduation Ears.....

We are heading to WDW to celebrate my daughter's HS graduation. She wants to get some Mickey Graduation Ears. I was hoping to get them for her before we go but they are all sold out on the Disney Store website. I found them on 2 other websites. One has jacked the price up by $10 and then another $15 to embroider the name on them. The other place sell them for $17.95 but no embroidery.

So my question is, if I buy the cheaper one ahead of time, can I still get them embroidered once we get to WDW? Or do you think they will still have them for sale at the end of July. I don't want to risk not being able to buy them!

We went last year, first week of June. My cousin had just graduated and we wanted to get him a pair of the classic mickey style. They were sold out company wide, online, and at both DL and WDW. They had the more plush/cartoony style graduation ears but if you want the classic mickey ear style hat you need to call ASAP. They may already be sold out entirely.

I bought mine back in march. I asked the same question on here about the name embroidery and someone said last year they had no problem getting the name on at the park.

I'm not sure which ones are the "cartoony" and which are the "classic," but the difference is important.

There's a large mortarboard with ears sticking out the top. This one is laced up the back and cannot be embroidered.

There's also one with the normal Mickey ears, but with a small motarboard on the hat part. This one can be embroidered.

I've ordered a pair through Disney Floral and Gifts as part of a graduation package. They are going to deliver them to our room in August as a surprise to my graduating DD. I didn't get them embroidered, but I think that they asked if I wanted them embroidered??? You could order through them if you are worried about them being sold out.

I called Disney Merchandising this morning and got 2 sets of Graduation Ears (Classic Style!) The CM verified that they can be embroidered at the parks. So excited! Thanks again for everyone's help and especially Robo who directed me to merchandising!

Ah, I just saw this! Are the parks sold out of the classic graduation ears? We do not arrive until 6/14.
