Question about Memory Maker and Character Dining

I was reading the page on PhotoPass and Memory Maker. In the Memory Maker section it said that "tableside photo purchase is required to add the photos to your PhotoPass card"

Does this mean that on top of the $170 for MM, there is an additional charge for photos at 1900PF? If so how much?

The page I'm referring to is here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/phot...es+(Disney+Updates+-+wdwinfo.com)#memorymaker

TIA

We didn't pay an additional charge for the character dining photos. We had photos taken at 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, 1900 Park Fair and Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Be advised, that, with the exception of 'Ohana, the photos are taken before you're seated and do no include photos with characters. At 'Ohaha, there was a photographer walking around the restaurant taking photos candidly. Also, there was a photographer with Stitch (it might have been the same photographer, I can't remember) taking photos with him. That was the only character photo.

I haven't eaten at 1900 Park Faire but I have done CRT and Chef Mickey. I see that CRT has an asterisk & is slightly different, so I'll just address Chef Mickey. There, you pose for a photo before you are seated (at CM you're in front of a big plate & mickey statue; at CRT and Akershus you're with a princess; O'hana is with a Hawaiian/tiki backdrop; I assume 1900PF has something like that). Without memory maker, you'd be offered the chance to buy those photos - used to be printed & in a cardboard frame, but now or very soon all will be digital only, no printouts. With memory maker I automatically got the digital photos included in my account. The site was a little unclear to me, but I'm 99% sure you'll get that photo included and the add on cost they referred to would have been if you didn't have MM or if you wanted the printout in addition to digital.

As PP noted, this is all for that posed photo only. When the characters visit, you take your own photos but there is no photopass photog taking shots of you with each character at your table at character meals.

That information is like, six months out of date and 3 years out of date for PhotoPass+/memory maker. If you didn't have those packages, you had to buy the photo to have the digital version.

As of March 2015 when CRT opens back up; they only pictures you will get from that experience are the digital copies... prior to Dec 31, 2014 you would get a photo souvenir with you dining experience... they have taken that away.

As far as I know, you get all the photo's taken by a Disney photographer including the ride pictures and the videos taken on a few. Any princess photo taken during a character meal (either prior or during) should also be included.
