Sorry in advance; this is a strange one!!! lol We're going to WDW 9/28-10/5 and plan to use ME each way. We are now thinking about extending our vacation and come in on 9/27 late and stay at the hotel that is inside the MCO concourse(we're thinking about doing this so we can get up early the next morning and start our vacation at WDW sooner). Can we fly in on 9/27 ,claim our luggage, stay at MCO for night, and take ME to WDW on the morning of 9/28? TIA for responses

Yes, you can.

I think the perferred method to do this is to just tell Disney that you are arriving on flight XYZ at 7 am 9/28. (Go out to the airlines sites and pick a flight with an arrival time you like) THen just haul the luggage to the ME site and say "We are here" If you have luggage they won't look for it and they don't check boarding passes! LOL!

Yes.

Magical Express provides complimentary transportation from Orlando International to your WDW resort on your check-in date. It doesn't matter if you arrive at the airport by air, by car, by taxi cab, by hotel or rental car shuttle — or by taking the elevator and escalators from your room at the MCO Hyatt.

Don't use the yellow luggage tags. After you check out from your hotel, check in at the Magical Express Welcome Center. The motorcoach has a luggage hold, and the driver will store and retrieve your luggage (in which case a tip is customary). Also, you won't get the free "magical" luggage delivery to your room, but if you want luggage assistance, a bellman can help you (in which case a tip is customary).

When this subject was come up previously, some posts have suggested giving fake flight information to Disney. However, there's really no reason to lie to Disney.

I recently called Magical Express at 866-599-0951 because we're going to return a rental car at MCO (after spending a few days in Southern Florida) on the day that we check in at WDW. The woman at Magical Express explained that we are entitled to use Magical Express, and that she would simply make a Magical Express reservation without flight information.

Horace,
Thanks for the update.

I know when DME first started the "mythical" flight info was used a lot... It may have just been that the CMs were so new to the program that they couldn't figure out how to make the reservation without flight info.
