Question about MDE and FP+

I just discovered that I had the wrong idea about something and now I want to be sure that I understand. I searched the threads but couldn't find this so bear with me.

If I sign up with MDE and do nothing else, I don't get 3 FP+ assigned to me - is that correct? However if I pick 1 FP+ but don't do anything about the other two then I am automatically assigned those two FP+ by the system?

Do I have the right idea now? I thought that the system would assign all three if you linked passes and did nothing else but I've since been corrected. (Thanks! )

The system will not assign anything to you regarding FP+. You must go in, link tickets, and choose your FP+ experiences. When you schedule them, you schedule all 3 at the same time. Disney gives you the chance to prioritize your experiences, then it gives you 4 different options to choose from as far as times go. You can then go in and alter each one if you wish. Does that make sense?

It does. I am assuming that someone has tickets linked in the system already. What happens if I only want one fastpass? Will the system accept that?

I thought that people were complaining that the system was assigning them random fastpasses that they didn't need. As you can see I haven't had the pleasure of using FP+ yet.

At this time, you cannot schedule only 1 FP+, you must schedule 3. I do think you can go back in and cancel one at a time, which you could not do previously so that's an improvement.
