Question about Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour

I'm considering this for our visit next December (tentatively 12/17/17-12/20/17), but I have a question. It says the tour starts at 8am and lasts 3 hours. One of the perks of the tour is getting to stroll down a fairly deserted Main St. USA. But what happens if they change the park opening to 8am, or they add EMH that start at 8am (or even 7am)? Are you just out of luck and have more people to deal with? Do they ever move the start time of the tour up if hours change? And obviously, even with a 9am opening, an hour into the tour the park is open to the public, which means 2 hours of the 3-hour tour happen with the park in full swing. Do the crowds impact the experience at all?

Just trying to see if it will be worth it.

I'm not an expert but I doubt they would move the tour up if there is EMH. Early entry isn't really part of the tour, it's just a cool little perk.

I did the tour last October and would definitely recommend it, regardless of whether or not you get to enter MK early.

I did the tour when the park opened and it didn't effect the experience at all. Great tour!
