Question about making reservation

My fiance owns at SSR/OKW. We want to rent BCV points so that we can get the 11 month window. If we want to stay in a 2 bedroom at BCV and the number of points required is 282. Do we have to rent 282 BCV points in order to get BCV at 11 months? Or can we rent a smaller amount of points (like 50 or 100) from a BCV home resort member and transfer some of our SSR/OKW points to them so they can make the reservation for us at the 11 month window?

Good news: it is not confusing.
Bad news: it does not work that way!

In order to book at BCV using the 11 month owner's advantage you need ALL points required for the reservation to be BCV points. There was a time several years ago when transferring would sometimes "morph" points into the recipient's home resort or use year, but those days are long gone. You will either have to rent all the points necessary to make the reservation or take your chances using your own points at the 7 month window.

Could you find a BCV owner who might be willing to trade points with you? I'd prefer OKW to BCV anyway, but that's me.
