Question about making a reservation

Hi all!

I have a question...I would like to book a trip for this September/October using my remaining 2014 points and some of my 2015 points. I have an April UY....do I have to wait until April to book said trip, or am I allowed to book it now since the trip would fall in a time frame in which I can use/borrow those points? Thanks in advance

You can book now.

When you can call or go online to book is only determined by the 11 month and 7 month windows and nothing to do with your UY. The requirement is to have points that will be valid for the time of the stay that you want to book and in this scenario with your April UY that would be any banked 2013 points, current 2014 points or borrowed 2015 points.

as KAT says, booking has nothing to do with UY.

you could have called in october 2013 to book your home resort for sept 2014 even if all you had available was borrowed 2015 UY pts...

always start your planning by figuring what UY your stay falls into (in this case, your 2014 UY). then you'd know you can use current 2014 pts + banked 2013 pts (if any) + borrowed 2015 pts (if needed).

everyone who owns at your home resort can book at 11 months out. 11 months is 11 months regardless of your UY month.
