Under the Magic Your Way Dining it says you get a non-alcoholic beverage with your table service or counter service meal. Does that include a milk shake or the fancy kids drinks they serve in the souviner cups with the glowing ice cubes? What about if I ordered a virgin pina colata (sp?)?

While I have not used the plan yet (but will be using it in Sept) I have been doing lots of research on the plan....

My understanding is that you can get ANY non-alcoholic beverage -which would include juice, milkshakes, coffee, non-alcoholic speciality drinks like virgin daquaries -- the only things you can't get are souvenier cups (per disney dining brochure on www.waltdisneyworld.com - do a search for "MYW Dining Plan") and I know the refillable mugs are also not included.

I have read some posts thought about each restaurant or each CM kind of making up their own rules - by that - I have read that some places will let you get a milkshake but will count it as your dessert.

Happy Disney Planning!!

The plan says "any single serving nonalcoholic beverage" which I had read elsewhere (sorry--can't remember) excludes shakes that come with some poured in a glass and the blender cup with rest. I guess that knocks out the shakes at the 50's diner.
