Question about long AOA walk vs ASMo

Hi everyone- I have a quick question. We normally stay at All star movies and we always request the Mighty Ducks section. My boys are big hockey fans and they love that section. I know it is the furthest from the main building but we always do it to make the kids happy.
This year we are trying to book AoA LM section. I keep hearing all these horror stories about the walk. When I compare the maps between the 2 resorts, the distance looks the same. Walking thru one whole section to get to destination.

Does anyone know if its about the same as far as the walk goes?

We stayed at AoA LM section this past September. I found the walk to be far, farther than when we stayed in the 50's section of Pop Century. I'm not sure I would stay in the LM section again for this reason alone. Luckily, we were moved to a Cars suite because the a/c wasn't working and there were no other available rooms in LM. It cut our walk at least in half.

I've never stayed at any of the All-Star resorts so I can't comment on the walk there but if I'm not mistaken, could you not stay in the Mighty Ducks section and then just walk a very short distance to the All-Star Music food court and bus stop? If you do that, isn't it almost like staying in a preferred section without the premium price?

I was just curious if the distance from LM to main area is the same as distance from MD to main area. We don't mind the walk at all at all star movies, so I wasn't sure if it was around the same distance or if AoA is more spread out making it alot longer of a walk.

We never tried to go to music caf, but did jump a bus to music and walk across to movies Bc our line was crazy! Lol
