Question about lines for FJ

So, I've read the advice that mentions leaving bags in lockers apart from the FJ ride in order to avoid the lengthy waits for lockers up by Hogwarts, but can I forgo this line with small bags if we are doing a child swap?

In other words, do I have to go through the trouble of locking up a camera bag, wife's purse, backpack just to enter the line even if DW and I will be trading off with DD4? Would like to enter the ride line ASAP when we visit in December.

You don't need to worry at all if you are doing child swap. You can take whatever you want.
