Question about leaving items on the bed

I sleep with an acid reflux wedge and I'm bringing it on this trip. Do I need to remove it each morning for mousekeeping to make the bed or will they still make the bed with it on it?

I always remove the pillow I bring with home and put it in the closet or on top of my suitcase - housekeeping has a routine way of making the bed and wrestling with additional items might add more work for them -

I would remove any item on the bed. While I assume your item is larger; many items can become lost especially if housekeeping is changing your linens that day. When younger my children learned this lesson the hard way.

Thanks, I'll put it in the closet on a shelf each morning. Don't want to make more work and don't want to lose it.

My DD sleeps with about a million stuffed toys. We've left them in the bed, and housekeeping always does a great job strategically placing them around the bed after making it. It looks so cute!! It's inspired my DD to make her bed at home, actually, trying to make it look as cute as it looks at WDW. So we've never had a problem. We do leave a tip daily. I think even if we didn't leave a tip, the stuffies would all still be present, they just might not look so cute.

Just a warning about leaving beloved stuffed toys or blankies or anything else irreplaceable in the bed....housekeeping often grabs the sheets up in a hurry, and more than a few little ones have lost treasured items that way. Sad stories of lost stuffies are a regular thing on this board. If it were me, I'd gather them up and put them on top of the TV cabinet, or somewhere else out of the way. If the housekeeper is so inclined, she can still arrange them on the bed after she's done making it.

My youngest niece lost a beloved stuffie when it was left on the bed. Thankfully, they found it and sent it to us at our next resort (we were doing a split stay). I'd recommend not leaving anything on the bed.
