Question about last nights episode of 24

I know they needed to get Jack alone at the end of the show, but didn't he think it was odd that his daughter Kim just didn't call him on his cell phone? And how did she get the phone number to that out of the way building? I was yelling at the tv "Dont go in there Jack" but he just didnt listen!

No more odd than spending several episodes to get the recording of Logan's confession only to have Miles magically erase it.

They've had Jack acting very un-Jack-like lately. No way he would have let Miles go because Karen told him to.

And NO way he'd go in for that call without looking around.

Hope the writing improves next season.
