Question about last minute park reservations

I just found out that I need to make a trip to Kissimmee, FL tomorrow (I live a couple of hours north of there) to pick something up for someone. I have a Florida resident seasonal (silver) pass and thought it would be fun if I could go to a theme park for a short visit while there. Of course there are no reservations available for any park when I just checked. Is is very common or possible that reservations might open up last minute? Should I just keep checking? Any suggestions are welcome as that would make my trip even more worthwhile. Thanks!

Keep checking frequently. Reservation do open up. Also, don't just accept what the park reservation calendar says - it does not update in real time. Try to actually make a Park Reservation. That's the only way to pick up on any cancelations.

Yes, just keep checking. Don’t look at the calendar. Just keep trying to actually book. You might find them in the morning even. HS opens up a lot after people don’t get a 7:00am boarding group
