Question about Kingdom Lunch Vouchers

At Rainforest Cafe, does the child get to order an appetizer off of the regular menu, since there are no child appetizers? Has anyone tried this, and can tell me. It seems like if not, then the voucher is not worth it for the child voucher. Thanks!

Yes children order the appetizer from the adult menu. If the restaurant does not have a children's menu then the entree comes from the regular menu as well. Some places have children's dessert menus so the child is required to get the dessert from there. I ahve heard of people with problems using the children's vouchers at Le Cellier. Other than that I don't remember any problems.

That would be an awesome deal -- I could buy one for my DD and then order one of the large appetizers on her voucher as my entree! Hadn't thought about that. What a great way to save even more money with them.

Does anyone know if the Vacation Kingdom vouchers are good at the RFC in Downtown Disney also or just the one at AK? THanks.

I didn't know that vouchers were good at the Rainforest Cafe. Is this true? I thought they were only good inside the park. Has anyone used them at the Rainforest Cafe before?

We ate at the RFC in AK with vouchers. In fact, my husband and I split a meal. The waiter went out of his way to make sure that we got the most for our money. We had a huge dessert that came in a souvenier glass. The RFC in DD does not take the vouchers. Le Cellier in Canada was another that was very good about splitting meals. We always leave an additional tip when we do this.

Where do you buy these certificates? Do you buy them at the RFC?

I had no idea you could use them there and we want to eat at the RFC in September, so this would be a super way to go! Thanks for the info!
