I received the kids stay, play, and eat free pin and I'm way excited because I think I can actually use it!!
But, my concern is that it says for a value resort and it doesn't say anywhere that other resorts or catagories are available. Also, it's for the quick service dining plan.
We want to stay at a moderate and most likely get the regular dining plan...do you think they will allow me to do this?? I'm assuming that they will, because they would be getting more money from us, but I wasn't sure....
I'm going to call and ask later, but I'm at work and can't call from my work phone...so I thought I would check on here to see if anyone might know.
Thanks!

I just wanted to tell you congrats on getting a PIN! Even bigger congrats that you are going to be able to use it! :thumbsup2

I have the same question as the OP. I too would like this deal if I can get a moderate resort and the regular DDP. I plan to call tonight when the kids can't hear me. ;)

Anybody had any luck booking this yet? What was the availability and were you able to do any upgrades?

Typically the numbers listed on the PIN are for an example of what the costs/savings would be. When you call, tell them you are interested in a mod/deluxe & you want to the regular dining plan vs. the QS. They will let you know if you can use it for one of the other resorts. :goodvibes

We used this PIN on our trip last March. Good to know it is still out there! It would help us a little bit this next March, so let's see if I can get sometime in the mail before too much longer!!

I just got off the phone with Disney, they will let you book this offer at a mod/deluxe and you can get the regular dining plan.
I'm trying to decide if this is a good deal for us though...
I had her check POR-standard view, regular dining plan, 7 day base tickets
2 adults
2 children
Total was $2185
Does this seem like a good deal? I thought taking the kids off would make the price a little lower than that....

How many nights was this? 5 or 6? Just playing around on the Disney website I figured POR for 5 nights with DDP (regular) and 6 day tickets (no hoppers or water park option) was around $1900. But maybe that didn't include tax?? Did your quote include insurance possibly?

Glad we can upgrade to a mod and get the regular dining plan. :thumbsup2

It is going to save you the cost of park tickets and the dining plan. The 7 day tickets are about $400 and the dining plan is about $145. When we did it last year, it saved us just over $500, so that sounds about right.

Rack rate for the same trip is about $2750... so yeah your quote sounds about right!
