Question about kids events during Food & Wine Festival at Epcot

I saw something about a Jr. Chef thing that takes place during this event at Epcot. Do any of you have information on this? I have an 11 year old son who loves to learn about cooking and he's studying Foods Around the World with 4H.

haven't seen anything about new jr chef events - but i know that in the land they do a baking event (but it's more for little kids) - i think that the best thing i did w/my kids (they were 11 & 13) was just to get the recipe cards & talk to the cooks & staff in the booths so that they can watch - & they learned from that - they tried so many new foods just by having that option -

Don't forget that there will be several FREE cooking demonstrations held each day around the world showcase - and your Son would certainly be welcome (I wouldn't try to bring my 4 yo son, because he would be bored and would act up which would be disruptive and disrespectful to the other guests - but your son sounds like he would truly enjoy them)....You can find out the times and locations from the food and Wine Fest booklet that will be avail at the front of the parks once the festival starts.

For instance - last year, they had a chocolate cooking demo in Italy - the Italian Chef made pasta with Chocolate with a red pepper sauce - we all got samples - it was yummy, and free! The "celebrity chefs" will also do cooking demos.....
