Does anyone have any advice on how to keep my stroller dry during rainy weather? I was thinking of buying a large rain poncho. Where can I buy one other than at Disney? Does Walmart, Target or Kmart sell them? If anyone has advice or tips, please let me know. Thanks!

A couple years ago, I bought a plastic cover for our strollers. I think I got it from Babies R Us. It fits right over the stroller, snaps on and has breathing holes in certain parts, it is also very clear so the kids can see thru it. On several occasions, I've been very glad that I have them. They fold up pretty small and fit in the bottom basket of the stroller.

I bought a rain shield from babies r us . . . it was the best 12 dollars i have ever spent. . . not only did it keep the stroller dry but the princess inside as well. . . i highly recommend this route :cheer2:

I've used both a rain cover and a $$store poncho. The poncho worked great cause my DS could stick his head out and still talk to us, eat and what not...plus for a buck you can't go wrong

We bought this one a year ago http://protect-a-bubusa.com/strollerraincover.shtml
Best purchase I could have made. Unlike some of the covers it also covers whatever you have hanging on the back of the handles. (Backpack for me) I usually put it on the stroller before we go in the rainy season then roll up the front and sides and clip it up with clothes pins. It folds right with the stroller (Maclaren volo) and when I need it or go in a ride I just take the pins off. Easy and has saved us for those quick showers that always seem to hit when you are ina ride and parked in the open. :) My daughter loves it because it has a wide window so she rides like a queen surveying her kingdom (or maybe a princess princess: )

I just found hooded rain ponchos at the dollar store 2 per pack. Good deal. They are one size only so I'm assuming plenty big enough to put over a stroller.:umbrella:

We love stroller rain covers. I wouldn't go to WDW with out one. The 1st time we borrowed one from a friend last min and it save the trip. Now we had to get a new one for the double stroller.

Invest in one, $10, might not need it, it might be the best 10 dollars you ever spent!

If it might rain keep the stroller covered when you go in places, often you can go in a ride when it is not raining, and come out and it is dumping rain!

They sell the stroller rain covers on ebay very cheap for almost every kind of stroller too. That is where we are going to buy ours before we go. Our stroller got SOAKED in June and we're going again in June this year and don't want it to happen again.

Cheap - we bought cheap clear plastic shower curtains and it fit perfectly over the top and was easy to use.
Good luck to you!
