question about incentives

Are incentives available if you don't buy after a tour. We took the tour in September and would love to buy into DVC within the next year, but want to pay some things down first. We're planning our next trip for Jan 2011. It seems silly to spend a bunch of money on a trip when we could use it for our down payment. Would we be eligible for any incentives if we decide to buy without doing another tour?

yes, you would always be eligible for whatever the standard incentives are at the time, regardless of whether you took a tour in the past, or took another tour.
We did the same thing....toured SS about 4 years ago and then finally decided to buy in at Bay Lake recently. We were given the incentive that was being offered at the time, which was too good to refuse!

As already stated you should be able to purchase DVC at any time and receive the incentives being offered at that time.

Pretty soon I think Disney is going to raise their per point price to $232 per point and offer a $112 incentive if you buy today.

DVC likes their incentives.

Thanks. Our guide made it sound like you only got incentives when you took the tour. Now we just have to decide between BLT and AKV. (Assuming BLT isn't sold out.)
