My dh has gout and he can't really walk very good, it is very painful. He just mentioned that he hopes he doesn't have an outbreak while at DLR because he wouldn't be able to walk around the park all day. Does DLR have wheelchairs or anything for those who can't walk all day in the park? If so, how would it work for getting him into lines?

Wheelchairs & EVCs are available to rent right next to the DL entrance. You can get a list of what rides & attractions are wheelchair accessable when you enter the park @ the turnstiles (just ask a CM). Some of them you can stay in the wheelchair while others you have to transfer out of it to get into the ride vehicle. Some attractions also have seperate lines for wheelchairs, but for the others, you'll have to stand in the regular line w/ the wheelchair. HTH. :)

If he does have an issue, you may want to go with an outside company like Deckerts or Scootaround. That way he can take it back to the hotel. When you're in pain, it can be really hard to make that walk from the parks to the room.

Thank you, that is good to know!
