Question about Holding Account

Hi Everyone,

It's been a really long week and am just thinking about the upcoming vacation. My DF and I got engaged in September and we had already had a trip planned on our points for mid December. He told me the other day he needs a few day break to work out some weird feelings he his having about us...I've been moving through this week in a fog...but am now starting to work out what might happen if we end up apart which would be devastating.

Anyway....there is no way I can go on this trip without him and unless he wants to go we would have to cancel but at this point we are less than 30 days away. I'm not familiar with the Holding Account. Could someone maybe explain this to me? I couldn't find any info on the dvc member site. Thanks so much...

Holding account points may not be banked or borrowed, and will expire at the end of your current Use Year if they aren’t used, and the new reservation must be booked within 60 days of your new check-in date.
