Hey y'all,

I thought that I would ask the pros about this resort. It will be our first time visiting here. We will be taking our 3mth old with us. It will be our wedding anniversary. We wanted to go down to the world but we only have a weekend(more importantly we didnt want to subject the baby to a long drive!). We will be headed there on May 10th for 2 nights. Is this a good time to visit? We have never been to Hilton Head before. How are the local restaurants? Any suggestions on what to bring for the baby?

Thanks!

We were there the 1st week in May 2001 and the weather was really great. Not real hot but hot enough to enjoy the beach and pools. We really did not eat at any fancy resturants, mostly pizza and bugers in the evening and breakfast places in the mornings. Outback steakhouse was about as fancy as it got. Can't help as to what to bring for the baby, but the rooms tend to be dark, so a night light would be a good idea. Jerry.

I second the night light....especially with a little one who may be needing you during the night.

There are some nice restaurants right across the bridge from HH resort to Shelter Cove Marina area. You can walk to these very easily. Suggest you bring a stoller for the little one.
