Question about hanging Christmas lights

Ok, so we want to "frame" each window in the front of our house with clear christmas lights. We want to affix the lights to the window from the inside of the house.

Anyone know of a good way to make them stick & hold their position?

We've tried scotch tape in the past, but the tape never seems to stick and the lights either fall down or get all out of alignment.

Any suggestions from the awesome DIS team would be appreciated.

They make little suction cups for just that purpose. You can find them in most places that sell Christmas lights.
