We are staying @ SSR in a villa And would like to know if it's ok if friends stopped in to visit.
I invited a couple of friends over for NYE and now am questioning parking etc. Because they will not be guests at the resort.
Will this be a problem? Maybe it would be better to meet them in DTD?
I was trying to avoid crowds and was thinking of cooking a nice dinner for our friends. Please advise. Ty.

I don't think you will have any trouble. Really, the only thing at the resorts not open to anyone is the pools. They will just say that they are meeting friends at the resort. DTD will be crazy packed and you are right that time in the villa would be much better!

Just go to the front desk and ask for extra parking passes for them. When they get to the gate they just say they are visiting you. When they get there give them the parking pass. No problems!

It should not be a problem. I have a friend in FL who has visited us at POFQ and AKL - at AKL she brought her husband and 4 kids and we had a birthday party for my son in our suite.
