Question about getting the AKV Incentive

So I am interested in using the referral incentive to buy into AKV (I do not currently own dvc).

Can I split my purchase into 2 contracts and still qualify for the developer's points incentive?

For example, I need to buy 225 pts to get the 160 dev. points. Can I purchase my 225 as a 160 contract and a 65 contract and still qualify for the full incentive?

You probably really need to confirm this with your Guide as things may have changed, but I do know that others have posted here in the past that they were able to split their contracts and still receive the bonus points.

For instance if you're adding 160 points to get the matching 160 bonus points, they were able to split it into two 80 point contracts and still receive the bonus points.

My understanding is that an initial contract cannot be split. In other words, the first contract must be 160 points, but add on contracts may be split any way the purchaser wishes - as long as they are at least 25 points.

Good idea to confirm with your guide.

Spoke to a guide - I can buy a 160 and a 65 and still qualify for the 160 Dev Points.

Great to know. My mom was just asking the same question. They are thinking about buying in at some time, but just not sure when.
