Question about getting permanent AP's

Is there a place in DCA to get your picture taken for the actual AP's or is the only way to do it to go to the DL side? I decided that our first day there will be spent in DCA for the most part, so didn't want to have to go over to both places if I didn't have to.

I know we can park-hop, but parking hopping seems kind of a PITA to me, lol.

I have been able to go to DCA to get my renewals, but was told that my DD had to go to DL to get her photo taken since she'd never had one before. That was in July.

You can only get your photo taken at the Bank over on the Disneyland side. If I remember correctly you get your renewals at California Adventure.

If it is your first time ever getting an AP, you have to go to the bank to get your pic taken. If you've already had your pic taken, you can go to DCA and renew.

Oh well, can't blame a girl for trying, lol. I guess we will be heading over to DL first to get our pictures taken. I guess the thing to do then, would be to get there as soon as DL opens in case there is a line at the bank, that way we should be done in time to be at DCA for opening.

This is exactly what we did. DL opened 2 hours before DCA did, so I was first at the bank and we did a bunch of rides in DL then headed over th DCA for the rest of the day. It worked out perfectly!

I would call to double check, but in the past, they didn't require you to get your permanent pass the first day. You could still use your paper pass ticket to get in on the 2nd day. Also, I've noticed the AP line can get really long by 10am, but is empty at the end of the day. If you are planning on closing down DCA, you can still go over to DL since DL is usually open for hours after DCA.
