Okay, here's my story.

I found tickets on sale for 70/RT from San Antonio to MCO with a lay over both coming and going in Dallas. The Tickets from Dallas to MCO are $250/RT

I live in Dallas. I don't want to drive 5 hours to San Antonio, to take a flight back to Dallas, and vice versa for our return trip.

So, If my plane leaves SAN @6am, gets to DFW@7am, can I just get on in Dallas?

Then on the way home, my plane leaves MCO, stops in Dallas, and then goes on to SAN.

Can't I get off in Dallas?

Let me know if others have done this. I just don't want to buy the tickets now if I can't get on and get off in Dallas.

Hurry! Never know when Sale's gonna end

That's a BIG NO-NO! If you don't show at the origination point, they can cancel your entire itinerary. I can't recall the offical name for it, but it's along the same lines as back-to-backs. I'm sure Beverly Lynn can come up with the name for it.

Don't do it--you will get caught, and they have the right to forfiet your trip wthout compensation to you.

DON"T DO IT!!!!!

If you do not board the flight in SAT, the rest of your flights on your itinerary are cancelled.
I know the fares you are speaking of, and it doesn't make sense to pay less for 2 flights going to Orlando, then 1, but that is the way they are doing it- I believe it is Continental, Delta and American.

You CANNOT just catch the plane in Dallas- they will show you not having a reservation. Even if you DO get on, you will be accessed a large penalty fee.

Same thing coming back. The only difference is, that you could get off the plane in Dallas, and not continue on to SAT. This wouldn't matter, cuz you are ending your trip. HOWEVER, you can only do this is you have NO CHECKED LUGGAGE. Your luggage, if you check it in Orlando, will be checked through all the way to SAT. The agents cannot "short check " it to Dallas.

Any questions, just PM me!

Thanks Guys!

I'm so glad that I didn't book it! It's not worth the low fare driving all the way down to San Antonio.

I knew it was too good to be true. Thanks!

Hi! We live in the DFW area as well. I found tickets for $77 RT w/ tax out of Austin to MCO. A little bit closer than San Antonio. This flight is for mid Dec. on Continental but booked on Orbitz. Try looking on that website. Good luck!!!!

THanks! yOur the Best! I'll have to look in to that. Those are our dates and everything. I just can't imagine paying $250!!!!
