Question about FTP booked thru DU

Has anyone done the FTP package by booking thru DU? We are booked for mid-Sept., paid our final payment almost 3 weeks ago, only 32 days until we leave. We haven't received any hard copies of paperwork or reservation numbers. When I asked my agent when we'd receive something, she said she didn't know if we would or not - that was handled thru a different office (I think she should have found out for us, but that's another issue).
Anyone who can tell me if they did actually receive mailed reservations and whatever else goes with this package? Thanks.

I haven't booked thru DU, but I did book a trip to WDW through another travel agent. It did take me about 2-3 weeks to recieve my paperwork. My agent said that they have to receive the paperwork from Disney and then forward it to their customers, so it usually takes a few weeks. I am sure it is the same for DU. If you don't get it by Friday, I would definitely call back and have your agent find out for you.

I called down to pay off my FTP a couple of days ago and I was told that they usually send out your final information about 30 days before your arrival. So I would say if you don't get it in a day or two call Disney directly, they should be able to send you the info, even if you made the rez thru a travel agent.

I suggest calling Disney and updating your information with them (especially if you are conceirge and want them to send your packet). I called today to make an additional reservation before our ftp and Disney didn't have any of our information except last name and reservation #.

I just talked to my agent at TMFL about changing my reservation to another resort, so I asked her about this while I was on the phone.

She said that final documents for packages are mailed to their office 14 to 21 days before your trip, then they mail them to the client. I would assume it would be the same for DU. Hope that helps!! I'm really surprised your DU agent didn't know the answer to this.

We booked our FTP through DU. We got our confirmation papers, luggage tags from WDW Travel about 2 weeks after final payment. They get sent to DU and then they in turn send it on to you. We also just got our final itinerery from DU a week ago. We leave on the 15th (day after tomorrow!!!). It is a very complete itinerery...about 27 pages got printed out!! I've been very happy with DU and their service. I'll let you all know if I have any problems once I get to WDW though. But I'm not anticipating any!!!
