question about free dining

Regarding the free dining package that just was opened up to the public (for august/sept 2009) - is the dining plan the one that includes 1 TS and 1 CS? Or is it the quick service dining plan?

I just found it on the disney site:
FREE Disney Dining Plan* - Includes one quick-service meal, one select snack and one meal at a table-service restaurant per person, per night of your package. Excludes gratuities.

i made reservations for sept at the pop century, but i forgot to ask what was included in the free dining plan.

Just an FYI....you can upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan for an additional $32 a day for adults and $10 for children.

my daughter did the free dining plan this past year, and she said the 1 TS, 1CS and 1 snack was tons of food for them...
so i don't think we'll need the deluxe..
although, if you're planning on eating at any of the signature restaurants, then the deluxe plan makes sense since they require 2 TS credits per person....

Exactly!!!! We are going to do a bunch of signatures, Jiko, HDDR, CRT, Narcoosee, Brown Derby, Yachtsman. Even though you do get plenty of food with the regular plan, appetizers are my favorite so we always pay OOP for those as well as buying refillable mugs. So this works out great for us!
I am sure you will love the free dining...Have a great time!!!

It is the same package that has been offered in previous years. 1 CS, 1 TS and a snack.

Exactly!!!! We are going to do a bunch of signatures, Jiko, HDDR, CRT, Narcoosee, Brown Derby, Yachtsman. Even though you do get plenty of food with the regular plan, appetizers are my favorite so we always pay OOP for those as well as buying refillable mugs. So this works out great for us!

We are actually trying Citricos for the first time on our May trip (just DH and I). If we like it we may go back on our free dining trip. Though we like the HDDR, the only reason we are going back is because my grandmother will be on the trip with us and we think she will really get a kick out of it. We are actually trying Citricos for the first time on our May trip (just DH and I). If we like it we may go back on our free dining trip. i was hoping for jiko on our last trip, but it didn't work out...
next trip for sure..
