Question about free dining?

I am SO excited about the free dining! We were planning a trip in August anyway but this just makes it that much better! My question is this, do you think these packages will go quickly? I understand that the general public (me) cannot book until April 4th, but my husband won't be able to bid on vacation until May so we won't know for sure what dates we will be there. Can I book on April 4th and then switch my dates slightly if I need to? Also, we are planning on going for 7 days and I was going to get tickets through ticketmania or undercovertourist, but my understanding is that I have to book a room/ticket package with Disney to get the free dining? Am I correct to assume that? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Yes you can book a package and reschedule if you need to but if you have to change the dates by that much you my loose the package special. A Disney package comes with room,tickets & dining. Everyone in the room has to be on the same package and have the same # of days on the park tickets. Tickets are included don't buy from outside.

I just booked this! Great deal! I already had a AAA room only at the french quarter! Now I have free dinning to go with it! Good luck all! We will be at WDW August 27-Sept3! Apparently if you have a Disney Visa you can book today instead of April 4!

The tickets in the package are base tickets, no hopping or pluses. I booked today and was able to just get a 1-day base ticket for everyone in the group, plus add on 2 more nights. I qualify for SOG so I'll get tickets for the rest of the stay there.

You can actually get hopping, plusses, or non-expiration if you want it. You *have* to buy at least a 1-day base ticket, but you *can* get whichever MYW ticket works for you.

No you cannot.
It is either a AAA discount or you can pay rack rates for the room and get free dining.

You really save the most money if you staying at a mod or value.

It is avaliable to the All Star guest also.
Which makes it a really great deal for famiiess who want a value vacation at Disney.
Last year we (dh,myself,dd,dsil and our 3 year old grandson ) stayed At All Star Music in a peferred room for 8 nights.
The two rooms,8 day park hopper plus tickets and the free meal plan for
the 5 of us was just $2,013.

DH and I going back to All Star Music in September so we can take advantage again.

We are getting a preferred room for 7 nights with 7 day park hopper tickets and the free dining for a total of $1224.86

What a deal!

The pools at The All Stars are very kid friendly.

When staying at the All Stars you can use any of the All Star pools.That means 3 main pools ,3 quiet pools and 3 kiddie pools to chose from.

The All Star Movie Fantasia pool has Mickey.

The Calypso pool at ASMU has Donald Duck.

And the Surfs up pool at All Star Sports has giant surf boards.
