Question about free dining and people leaving early.

Hi folks,

We've done free dining three years in a row, so you'd think I'd know how this works, but I have a situation I haven't encountered before, so maybe one of you has.

My family and I are checking in on the last day of Feb free dining, and the reservation goes for 10 days. After 7 days the rest of the family is leaving, and I'm staying for 3 more days to do the princess half marathon.

Will we get credits for all 4 people for each of the days AFTER the family leaves? I did tell them that three of the people are leaving on Friday. Now I have a friend who will be coming to join me after the family leaves and will stay with me and run the race.

Any FD experts out there to help me?

The credits are assigned per room, not per person. So yup, you'll have those extra credits after the others leave.

As far as the friend, it's a sticky situation. She won't technically be on the plan, so she technically wouldn't be able to use them. (Granted, it's not like they won't know she's "insert whatever other name of person that has already left" at the restaurants, but I do not condone doing that )

My adult daughter is joining us for the first 4 nights of a 7 day trip. Since we are paying the additional guest charge for the room for 7 nights and a 7 day hopper instead of 5, we are planning to utilize the days left on her dining package.

Sweet! Thanks! I'm not worried about the other person joining me later. I think we'll have plenty of opportunity to use our credits while the fam is there, I just didn't know if we'd have the benefit of the extra days.
