Question about Free DDP

Hi,

I see that the UK have free dining for 2007. Is this the usual for Disney to offer the package the the UK and then offer it to NA later on? Just wondering as I am go looking forward to getting the DDP next September when I go. (I am going anyways but a few hundred dollars savings would be a fantastic bonus!)

The free Dining Plan was not made available to folks in the UK earlier than it was made available to Americans, in either 2005 or 2006, the years since the Dining Plan was introduced.

Thats exactly why they are being offered the free dining, longer ticket/Room packages! Plus with the cost of flying involved its an enticement to get our british friends to convert those pounds to dollars!

The way i look at it is the usa bookings have had it for 2 years,if we wanted it from the uk we would have to book with disney/us or a us ta
To me it has been more popular with the us this time than last time
Thus to me the thinking in disney is we have spread the word about the ddp enought in the states why not transfer it to abrard more
To this thinking i dont think it will be offered again free in its current form ie only have to book 1 days base ticket for each in party
UK guests vacation on average 14 nights at disney,so the more they lock us in the less we spend at US/IOA and seaworld
We did it this year for 2 weeks free ddp,booked 2 lots of 7 nights and bought 1 day basic base ticket for each week that cost us $1950 staying at pop
Next year if when we go to pop for 14 nights with 14 days unnlimited pass would cost $3300 for the 4 of us.We will still save on food but not as much as this year
We will be doing it as we plan on doing 3 weeks our 3rd week at our DVC SSR to recover from the food gluteny.And i dont see them offering it to usa guests like it is now,think you will have to purches a length of stay pass just my opiunion
