Question about Free AOL email

Okay,
I know I've procrastinated enough on this issue, I know AOL email is available for free (yes, we have broadband and do not use AOL to connect to internet, so that's not an issue).

I'm just wondering if anyone ever lost their email folders when they switched to AOL free? That's one of my main concerns about switching and I never seem to find anyone who can answer this question, I'm sure one of the dissers can help. Thanks!

Holy cow - you are way behind the times. AOL has been available free for many years. You lose nothing except the ability to seek "free" help when you have technical issues. You are just changing the service you have. You are not downloading any new software or having to so any installations etc.

I confess I only got rid of paying for AOL a few months ago. Nothing has changed for me since. As the PP mentioned, you can no longer ask for their help, EVER, not even if you want to pay for it. They made that abundantly clear to me when I called and asked about the differences.

why would anyone switch TO AOL for email or anything else??

Um, yahoo and google have free email too. They are the new and improved dinosaurs.

So are you currently paying for AOL? I switched from paying to free years ago. I still use AOL software and have my same folders.
