Question about Francks / DFTW

Hi All

We're planning a VR in 2013 (yes, I know it's over 2 years away)
We will be in Disney World in September - I want to get a little more info than I can get on the web about the things we may be able to choose from - can you just walk in to Francks (or where ever you need to go) and speak with someone, or do I need to make an appointment? And, if I need an appointment, will they even schedule one for someone who's date is so far away?

Yes, you need an appointment to speak with someone at Franck's.

When in 2013 are you planning? For a Wishes event, you can begin to talk to DFTW as early as 24 months.

No harm in trying! Your best bet at this juncture I think is still the Internet, message boards, and frankly, (no pun intended) carrie's book and podcast! Good luck! Some people have had luck, we didn't really get any contact until within disneys very specific timelines. I have trouble getting phone calls and my wedding is in 72 days!!!!!!

Thanks for the info! We're looking at the weekend of Sept 13 - to do it on the 15th (our actual anniversary) will make it a little more expensive because it's a Sunday - but I like the idea of doing it on a Friday so our friends and family don't have to miss a lot of work and then they have Saturday to enjoy the parks, etc. but DH is leery of "Friday the 13th"

but there is also a sunday brunch option! don't wory TOO much about friday the 13th!! i bet there are those who actually will seek out that date on purpose!!
