Question about FP rides

Is there a "guide" to which FPs are worth it? Like Its a Small World doesn't seem worth it as I remember that always had a short line.

The new Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom...does that really need a FP or are the wait times not so bad? Yes, it is worth it to my girls to get on this ride but if the lines aren't bad I don't mind using my FP for one of the roller coaster rides.
