I am going to Orlando with 4 other co-workers mid-October. We are not staying onsite at Universal, but at the World Center Marriott (where the meeting is being held). We have three days to go to parks. Becuase of the price, I think we will go to Universal sing the online 99.99. However, I have a few questions:
1. If you don't have FOTL, how long of a wait will you have in the rides. I am used to Disney and FP and have never been to Universal.

2. Does the 99.99 pricing get you into both IOA and Universal unlimited amount of times for the three days we are there, or do you have to pick a certain park and stay there all day. Can you come and go?]

TIA!!

If you get to the parks at opening, you should be able to ride the major attractions without much wait. Do all the major attractions when the crowds are low and then go back and do the shows and minor attractions later.

You can use your $99 pass as a park hopper.

We will probably have to arrive in early afternoon, we have to attend some of the meeting. Will we have ridiculous wait times? On average, how long do you think they would be for the major rides?

Also, do they do a Halloween night or something in October? Does that cost extra?

Yes, the night events are an extra fee.

It is very difficult to give you wait times. Are you going during the week? Your wait times will be lower. I would imagine they will be between 1/2 hour and an hour. Most rides should be around 1/2 hour max. Hopefully some other people who frequent the parks during that time will chime in here.

I'm in the parks during that time period.

If you have a choice, stick with mon, tue, wed for your day in the parks.
Thursday is an ok day in the park but will get busy at the studio side by 4.
HHN is held on Thursdays.

If you want to avoid crowds, stay with weekdays for visiting the parks.

Saturdays and Sundays by mid October tend to have more crowds especially during HHN time periods.
