Hi. We are going to WDW in Dec. We'll be staying at Fort Wilderness and GF..could anyone tell me about Fort Wilderness Cabins? Do they have pots, pans, utensils, etc? I was thinking they might since it is equipped with a kitchen but you never know. Any help you guys could give me, I'd appreciate! Thanks! :earsgirl: :earsboy: pirate: pirate:

Yes, they had a fully equiped kitchen. The only thing that they didn't have that we needed was a cookie sheet, but we used a caserole dish and it worked just fine. They have a toaster too. Great for frozen waffles in the morning. They had a grill too.

We LOVED the cabins. They were a little oasis each day.

Have fun! :cool1:

Check out the DIS "Camping at Disney" board. You'll find a lot of information about FW, and the cabins. Jeff Spencer has a site (not sure of the link, but the camping board folks will know!) that lists everything you'll find in the cabins - pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. The cabins are wonderful! Have a great vacation.

we stayed in the cabin years ago and loved it. it is so peaceful and pretty back there. The cabin offered everything we needed. We shipped a box or two of supplies down and had it ready for pick up at the front desk- it included canned goods and stuff to cook meals and snacks. Really helped curb our expenses for meals. We had 2 adults on the bed that folds out the wall, 1 adult and two toddlers in the main bed in the bedroom and then one adult each in the bunk beds and it was just fine. enjoy!
