Question about Forbidden Journey Line?

How are they running the Forbidden Journey Ride and locker lines now? The reason I ask is because the first time I rode it was back at the end of June about a week after it first opened and they had two seperate lines one for the ride and one for people waiting to use the lockers. Then a couple of days later when we came back again they only had one line and were telling people that you had to wait for people ahead of you to load their stuff in the lockers even if you had nothing in hand (which I thought was ridiculous).

So has anybody been on it recently that could tell me or is there even a line anymore for the lockers making this thread a mute point?

Those going into the castle without things to go in lockers, just go straight in. Those who need the lockers can line up or go enter the locker bay through the Filch's door.

Thanks, thats good to hear. Maybe it was something they were just trying out but I thought it was crazy to make people wait for others to stow their stuff in lockers.

What's this about a locker and two lines? Why would we need a locker?
TIA

You can't bring any loose articles on the ride such as purses, backpacks, shopping bags, etc.

And that includes even small cross body bags.:rotfl: My Vera Bradley minihipster required a locker even though it was cross body and quite a bit smaller than my fanny pack, which was allowed on.:rotfl: After the second day, I just started putting my camera in my pocket and carried just my room key, DL, and a credit card in a lanyard around my neck, then held my sunglasses in my hand. The only thing is, that stupid lanyard kept flying up on the ride and I had to hold it in the other hand. The crossbody minhipster would have been more secure.

I really wish they would loosen up on the bag policy a bit. I understand why it is in place BUT women are used to holding onto their purses. Especially a small cross body bag seems like it would be fine.

BUT - that is the side of me talking that hates my stupid belly bag!

We were told to enter the lockers from Filch's Store to save time waiting in the locker line.
