Question about flying with Southwest and children

I was just reading their FAQ's and came across a blurb about flying with children under 2 and then again ages 2-11. It stated that they have infant fare available in limited quantities on all flights and special child's fare as well. Does anyone know what these rates generally look like? We are planning a trip for next April with our three kiddos (12, 9 and 18months).

Also, if anyone knows when SW or JetBlue historically release their flights for April, that would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Typically infants (under 2 can fly freeas an "infant in arms") they just don't get their own seat. We have done that multiple times on southwest for disney trips. If you book online, you may need to actually call them to add the infant to your ticket. As far as the discounted child rate, I haven't heard of that. If you don't get another response with more details, I would call them and ask. They should also be able to tell you exactly when they will have rates for next April.
