Question about Fishing Excursion

Hi, I booked my DH and DS a Fishing Excursion and my DH wants to know if anyone knows what type of boat it is. They will be leaving from the Friendship Dock at the Boardwalk. I don't know why he is so worried about it but he wants to know if it is a pontoon boat or a true bass boat!!!!! Does anyone know? Thanks!

When we have gone it has always been a pontoon boat. I don't recall seeing any true bass boats at WDW ...but I could be wrong. The drive will bring soft drinks and know where the fish are biting ... or at least try to take you where the fish are biting. We haven't been from the Epcot area so when you return please post how the fishing was in that area. It will be fun. We are going again in Nov/Dec but are going to try from the POFQ area, I think.

When we went it was a pontoon boat, but my husband says that he has seen real bass boats with what looks like guides out there also. I would assume it is a pontoon boat unless they tell you otherwise.

We have done it three times and it has always been a pontoon.
