Question about first DVC res.

Just booked first DVC res for SSR in Feb. I got a studio and a 2 BR. When I got the paper conf. from disney it said the 2BR was a "Dedicated 2-bedroom" I was just wondering what this was? What other type of 2BR is there? Thank you for the help!

There is a lock off two bedroom, which is a one bedroom and a studio together. They have the connecting type doors inbetween so you can lock off one area from the other.

I don't know if I explained that well but hopefully you get the idea

a lock off has a balcony plus the kitchennett in the studio part. Plus a door to outside as well as the door between it and 1-bedroom.

a dedicated does not - but it has a bigger closet and 2 sinks in the 2nd bedroom. there is only a door between it and 1-bedroom. (not a separate door to outside)

Keep your dedicated 2-bedroom. You are in great shape and will have a wonderful trip.

The dedicated has 1 king in the master bedroom and the other bedroom has 2 queen beds as well as a full kitchen. If you don't ask for a dedicated, the second bedroom has 1 queen and 1 pull-out sofa. Keep the dedicated I would say.

I believe that a dedicated two bedroom also has 2 queen sized beds in the studio portion instead of a queen and a couch. Nice if you have more that 2 people in that second bedroom.
