This is just a suggestion.
If your husband cannot activate his ticket at 8:00am,
then you and your daughter could collect FPs this way:
8:05am: Get 2 FPs at Space Mtn
8:50am: Get 1 FP at Space Mtn
10:30am?: Get 2 FPs at Splash or Indiana Jones
12:00pm?: Get 1 FP at Splash or Indiana Jones
Early-afternoon: If FP wait-times aren't too bad, repeat this for BTMRR?
3:00pm?: With husband's ticket, get 3 FPs for BLAB
(The above times are just wild guesstimates.)
Hope this helps.
I'm pretty sure that you cannot officially "hold" FPs for the same ride on the same ticket. (see S.S. Columbia's post below for, you know, truth

) So let's say you get a Splash Mountain FP with your ticket at 8:50 AM with a return time of 12:00 PM, and then try to get a second one at 10:50 AM. You get an error FP ticket that says that you already have a FP for this ride. FP is basically "virtually" standing in line, and you can't stand in line for the same ride twice.
But you CAN get a second Splash FP after you are allowed to ride. Disney does not know that you're holding a Space FP in your pocket, so the system assumes you rode at 12:00 PM, and you can get a new FP then.
If you're up for walking, what I would do to get the most FPs for your whole family would be a variation of:
(edited for truth)
8:05am: Get 2 FPs at Space Mtn
8:50am (or whenever your Space Mountain window opens): Get 1 FP at Space with 1 ticket and 1 at Splash or Indy with the other ticket
10:50am: Get 2 FPs for Splash or Indy with your tickets, provided you are able to. If your return time for Splash/Indy has not yet hit, then I would probably just get 1 FP for Splash or Indy (with the ticket that doesn't already have a FP for that) and get the 3rd FP when your first Splash/Indy return time hits. Or else, wait until the return time hits to get your two FPs (to avoid walking so much). Confusing enough????
(If it's a hot day, I think Splash Mountain's FPs will probably go faster than Space Mountain's but don't quote me there. That said, if you want to ride Splash Mountain late at night--say, 11 PM--the line is usually short because most people prefer to get wet when the sun is out and it's hot.)
12:50pm: Get 2 FPs for Big Thunder Mountain or Buzz or whatever you want
You can switch the order around but the point is to get 2 full "sets" of FPs before noon, even if the park is super-busy.
These windows may be a bit pessimistic but I do think the big FPs probably be all gone by the time your fifth window opens, even if it's as early as 2. (If you're going to take mid-afternoon breaks you'll be leaving then anyway, right?)
DCA would work similarly, assuming you all want to ride all those rides. I'm not sure Tower of Terror's FP machines will be running in June; I'd heard rumors they'd be closed.
I know the pros say to avoid riding the big rides early in the morning, but I can never resist an 8:05 am spin on Space Mountain. Even the FP lines for Space will likely be at least 5-10 minutes later in the day, so if it's a 5 minute wait (which often means walk-on), it might be worth just riding if it's a priority, especially since you'll be giving up some of your own FPs so you'll have fewer opportunities to ride it. Indy is another ride where the FP line tends to be 10 minutes, so it's not always bad to ride it early if you want to do it more than once in the day.
Have a great trip!
