Question about exchanging vouchers for tickets

I messed up big style!

I bought USF tickets for our upcoming trip quite a while back.
Went to print the vouchers out & noticed that they only had a very short validity period for redemption - which has now passed. I entered the wrong month for my date of travel :(

The seller has stated that the vouchers are no longer valid & Universal will not permit them to re-issue with the correct/current dates, even though the same tickets are still for sale (it wasn't a special offer or anything)

Will Universal still honour the vouchers do you think or have I wasted an awul lot of money :sad1:

Take them to get redeemed. The worst that will happen is that they won't. If they do come back and tell us a feelgood story. Everyone is fast to post when bad things happen so let's hope we get surprised with some good news :)

Most tickets do not expire until they are activated at the gate. I would need to call Guest Services and explain the situation and see what they say.

It would be a shame if you couldn't use the vouchers but GS would be the place to call and find out for sure.

... if they say no I'd have to pay gate prices & the UK tickets are so much cheaper - even with my AP discount
:headache::headache:

You can fax a copy of your vouchers to Universal and they witll phone you back and let you know if they will still be valid. The fax number is 407-224-5717. i did this a few weeks ago with my tickets (not sure if they expired), and they called me back a few hours later and said they were good to use still.
Good Luck.

I looked at that thanks - unfortunately I don't have access to a fax :(

Jackie at Universal Guest Services rocks :cool1:

She arranged a conference call with the vendor and 45 minutes later I have new vouchers :thumbsup2

Above & beyond with the mummy dust :worship:

YAY!!! And who says that Universal has poor guest services?????

Guest Service will honor expired vouchers if the vendor who issued them agrees. Since the person who sold you the tickets said they wouldn't honor them, I would call Guest Services and explain the situation. Sometimes, Guest Services can straighten it out for you. Call 407-224-4233 and choose option 2 (to speak to a GS coordinator.)
