Question about evenings at Hollywood Studios

Are all the rides open until the posted closing time these days?

I remember two years ago with the frozen fireworks they closed everything behind the great movie ride well before closing time. Which made the "taking a break in the afternoon" strategy not really worth it. Essentially we went all the way back to the park just for characterpalooza, frozen sing along, and just barely made it in line for the movie ride before they shut off the line. It was still a great time, but we may have adjusted our strategy if we knew everything had to close early for the fireworks.

With the added TSMM track I would think the last hour before closing time would make it worth it to go back for.

they moved the launching place for fireworks to a location outside the park so now both TSMM and GMR remain open until closing time.
