How does the EMH in the evening work at Epcot, given that Future World "closes" at 7pm? Is that when the EMH starts for Future World rides, or do you have to wait until 9pm when they entire park shuts down?

Epcot EMH starts at 9pm. These days a lot of Future World is open until 9pm anyway. Test Track, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, I believe Soarin' is now too...

So does that mean that EMH lasts till 12AM!! We are staying at the Yacht Club and have never done EMH in the PM only EMH in the AM but with us staying so close to Epcot I wouldn't see why we couldn't do EMH PM at both Epcot and MGM.

Then why does all the info on the Disney site say Future World closes at 7pm if the major rides are still running after that? :confused3

That's one of thos unanswerable Disney questions :) All of Future World use to close at 7pm, but once they started putting the major attractions in (with the opening of Test Track) it was not feesible to close them at 7pm with the crowds, so those stay open until park close everynight. Why they never updated that on the park hours information is anyones guess. You will see it when you are at the park on the daily times guide.

Additionally on Evening EMH nights they will keep The Circle of Life, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Journey into Your Imagination, The Living Seas and Living with the Land open until 9pm (these usually close at 7pm) but rather than close them down and reopen them at 9pm they will stay open.

We went to EMH evening in Epcot in November. It was absolutely mobbed! The wait for Soaring finally got down to 30 minutes at 11:30pm! Everybody is basically online for Soaring and Test track.

great that will mean that everyone will be line for Soarin since TT is down for rehab till the Wed after we are there.

Here's the thing. If you can see Soarin' at a different time other than EMH, see it outside of EMH. Everything else shouldn't be that crowded. We walked onto Mission:Space our EMH night we did last summer. We also had a show of Crush's Turtle Talk nearly completely to ourselves. We explored the Living Seas and were nearly the only people in the building. Spaceship Earth was a walk-on and Test Track had FastPasses up and running so we did that. Additionally, you could see the American Adventure on your way out back to the Epcot resorts.

The EMH is worth it if you plan on NOT doing Soarin'
