I am going to star wars weekend this coming weekend with some friends and I ended up reinjuring my knee  I have used an ECV before at the parks when I originally hurt my knee and had no problem with them. I'm going to be renting one this weekend from inside the DHS and I believe we will be park hopping. My question is if I rent an EVC from DHS and we go to MK later in the day, will I have to rent another one and pay the full amount again or can I show a receipt to get another one at MK?

Thanks for the help!

You can show your receipt, and hope MK hasn't run out of scooters. It's cheaper to rent off-site; the scooters are better quality/condition, and the dealer will deliver/pick-up your scooter at the hotel, and you can ride the scooter from park to park, Downtown Disney, and around your hotel.

As the other poster mentioned, you will not have to pay again, but there is no guarantee that the park you hop to will have an ECV for you when you get there.

There is information about renting ECVs and wheelchairs in post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. You can find that thread near the top of this board or follow the link in my signature. There is information about renting in the parks and from off site.

Just for the record, the picture was taken at 2:21pm this past Sunday at the MK according to Josh's site.

Thank you for the help! I would rent one off site, but we will only be going for the day ( we only live 45 mins away)
