I am thinking about doing eticket or will call so we can just buy the tickets a few days before we leave. It will help me with the saving up aspect. But I think I heard with the eTickets, you print them out, but they exchange them for the cardboard, themed tickets?
The reason I am asking is because I scrapbook and I always keep our tickets and put them in it. So I want to make sure we will have some keepsakes. eTickets seem the best because its FREE. Versus will call is 5 dollars. Thanks!

You print the vouchers, go to DLR, walk up to the turnstile. Hand over the vouchers, they scan them, and the machine right there prints out the proper thick paper tickets for you. Really couldn't be easier!

You can always print the e-ticket after your trip if you want it for your scrapbook. You'll also have your park ticket that you'll get, as bumbershoot said, so you'll have two types of tickets.

Just like the others wrote...

If you get the eTicket, you will be e-mailed a PDF file. You print out the PDF file -- 8.5 x 11 inches -- and it has the same bar code printed twice. Like Molly wrote, you bring the 8.5" x 11" print-out directly to the turnstiles.

FWIW, in Oct '07 the print-out was a really nice color drawing of Mike and Sulley from Monsters Inc, and it would make a nice keepsake.

HTH :goodvibes

This is truly the best option if you are buying the promo tickets...adults play for the child's price tickets.

The Disney store only sells this promo for the 3 day hopper and it's a dollar or two more to order the passport plus package from WDT and then you have to pay for shipping. They were going to charge me $27 for shipping...no way!

So I opted for the standard ticket vs the souviner ticket. :thumbsup2

I was just wondering because I have a friend who's family works for Disney, and so he can get me into Disneyland for free. And the only time I have not had a park hopper ticket was when he let me in, and the people at the turnstyle gave us a plain white ticket with the bar on the back. So I was just worried we wouldn't get the cute ones with the decorations and the theme and everything. Stupid huh? LOL, but still, the cute tickets are CUTE! :rotfl:

ETA: What are the souvenir tickets? Are they just the ones you order from Disneyland.com? Thanks!

They are the plastic ones you can purchase at the Disney store or the ones you get with a package online.
