Question about Epcot Receptions/Rehersal Dinner

When looking at the countries for outdoor receptions/rehearsal dinners it says:

Cold food items and a limited Chef’s choice of hot food items can be served at this location.

Anyone do this as a function and what are the choices like??

Yes, many of us have done receptions and dessert receptions at the various countries around World Showcase. You might want to poke around in the Planning Journals and Completed Trip Reports subforums—if the thread title lists the name of a country in Epcot, it means the person had a function there. Look for "Italy Isola," "UK Lochside/Lower," "UK Upper," or "French Island" to start.

Here is a link to all the menus currently offered in the theme parks, including Epcot. You are not limited to these menus—Disney can do pretty much anything you can dream up, as long as it falls within the guidelines for heating and serving at the venue you choose.

We are using UK lower as our rehearsal dinner/dessert party location, and are including a fajita station along with some desserts. I'm not sure what all the options were, but we had no problem adding a "hot" food station.
