Question about entry while staying on property.

So... I know that if I stay 2 nights on property that covers 3 days for EP, but what about guaranteed entry? I see Universal has closed for reaching capacity recently, but that people staying onsite can still get in. So does that work for the same 3 days you would have EP?

It works if you are an onsite hotel guest

The parks hit capacity while we were there for President's Day but we were stay able to go right in. They has a special entry for resort guests, which would include your arrival and departure days...
