question about entering parks after PPO breakfast at storytellers

We have a 7am breakfast at storytellers on a wed. On that day the park opens at 10am and there is Emh at 9. We are off site guests and do not have that privilege. So here's my question/thoughts... Can we enter dca through the GCH entrance after breakfast? We have three young kids and will be traveling with the dreaded double stroller so we are making lots of decisions based on what will be "easiest" and help with waiting in line. So I'm wondering if going to dca that morning is wise since we are "right there" and may not have to travel more or will the lack of Emh and not staying at the hotel just cause problems. Or is it better to just head over to dl since they don't have Emh and lines may be shorter? Sorry for the strange question... I'm just a little stuck on how to make the most of that morning after our breakfast. I find with the little ones having a good plan helps... And of course being fully aware there's a 90% chance the plans will go awry and turn into chaos lol. Thanks!

No, its for hotel guests only; my understanding is they ask to see room keys until a certain point (11?).

Thanks! Wasn't sure if they would let us in since we are eating there... but I guess we will just head to dl instead since it looks like most people recommend avoiding the park with Emh. Thanks again!

When off property we always avoid the EMH and even when staying at VGC/GCH we bypass the often long morning line at the direct entrance and go to the main DCA gate. We only use the DCA entrance later in the day when the security line is shorter to non-existent. Eat and rope drop DL, you will be far ahead of the crowd all day long.
